Missie Shealey is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
and has lived in Atlanta, Georgia for over ten
years.
She attended Paine College in Augusta,
GA
and is a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
Ms. Shealey has spent the last 23 years of her
professional career as a topnotch Wardrobe Specialist
for high-end retailers such as St. John Knits, Neiman Marcus,
Nordstrom, and Saks Fifth Avenue.
Ms. Shealey has a great interest in writing , creative cooking,
creating entertainment for children and studying natural health options.
A major accomplishment for Ms. Shealey, aside from
having her daughter, was having her children's story book published.
As you already know, it's called
"Pookie Lookie, the Pink Spotted Panda Bear."
It's a wonderful story
that teaches children about love and
self
acceptance. Ms. Shealey has also created a Pookie Lookie mascot.
The mascot encourages education and fun through
"Pookie Lookie 'Pow
Wow' Parties" held at schools, churches and festive events.
Ms.Shealey is currently working on more Pookie Lookie adventures and plans
to have a four part series dedicated to family,
education, and upholding values.
This is
due out by the Spring of 2010.
Missie is a mompreneur raising her beautiful daughter, Janiyah Danielle Grant.
They currently reside in the Sandy
Springs area of Atlanta, GA.
